Ages 8-15
In the fall of 1879, ten-year-old Wonsit, along with her family and tribe are suddenly uprooted from thier home. The governor of Colorado demanded the removal of the Ute indains from the White River Valley.
Forced into Utah, the tribe still finds no welcome. Now Wonsit and her people seek a home of their own in the wilds of Wyoming!
