The Snake River Audubon Society reports more than 180 species of birds have been seen at least once in Idaho Falls. From the brightly colored Lazuli Bunting to the ubiquitous black-and-white Magpie, Idaho Falls Area Birds provides photography and descriptions of 112 birds more common to the city. Even then, some of the species mentioned may only appear for a few days as they pass through on migration.
Authored by the Snake River Audubon Society and produced by the Idaho Falls Parks and Rec Dept, Idaho Falls Area Birds is an ideal introduction to the local avian population. Pocket-sized and spiral-bound, the book fits easily in a purse or conveniently on a window sill.

Idaho Falls Area Birds
Excellent little book for the non-resident birder about local birds of Idaho Falls!
